During the rise of counter culture symbolized by hippies and flower power in the late 1960s, GRATEFUL DEAD became a symbol of the movement in San Francisco, the center of that movement . Dead Bear first appeared on the artwork for GRATEFUL DEAD 's album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One ( Bear's Choice ). Originally they were nicknamed "Dancing Bears" and are still beloved mascot characters around the world today.

The dancing bear is used prominently in the back print. The dancing bear with the Seigaiha pattern creates a unique flavor that is only found in RIVER SIDE CULTURE .

A slightly thick 100% COTTON fabric with a 30/10 fleece lining, with a unique natural feel. Pigment processing gives it a vintage feel.
